who manufactures the Bernette sewing machines?
Bernette is not made by Bernina sewing machine so who manufactures it? I have heard that Juki does and also that Janome does. Cant find any information about it anywhere.
No, It is not made by Bernina..... that is why each machine says: Bernette FOR Bernina. I bought mine at a Bernina store and they are the only ones who carry them because Berninas are like mega bucks...4,000.00 to 10,000.00 and people wanted a cheaper machine, but they arent made by Bernina, they are made somewhere in Japan but it appears to be a secret as you cant find the information anywhere. The Bernina website doesnt even mention the Bernette sewing machines.
Bernette sergers are made by Juki. To the best of my knowledge, Janome makes the Bernette sewing machines, and has for awhile.
