Which sewing machine is right for me?
It has been a while since I have sewn...basically you could say I am a novice. I have been wanting to get back into sewing for quite some time, always using my mother in laws when I can but now I want my own.
A friend of mine works as Singer and just told me she can get a discount for me! But my head is now spinning with all the options. I have narrowed it down to the following 4.
I want to be able to make dresses and aprons...in the future I would like to begin quilting but that is a couple years down the road.

why the first one? are you just being funny? I do appreciate insight and advice...don't want to make a blind purchase.
PDon't buy the cheapest or the most expensive. I prefer as the give you more bang for your bucks. Go to Overstock or Walmart and compare. For under $200 you should get a great machine that will last you a longtime. You can also find good deals under $100. But after a while you may want to move up, which is okay. If you start at $400+ then you really stuck for a while and it may be to complicated to start with.
