At first, people trade Ugg boots as ugly boots that don't want to wear it. After idea change, people like to wear Ugg boots as fashion. Also it is indeed in the change of Ugg boots style.
The style of Ugg Boots varies to a great degree. The height can range from as low as the ankle and as high as above the knee. They contain a rubber sole and heel and have extensive stitch work on the outside. They come in a variety of colors and can be either slip on or lace up style boots. Ugg Australian Boots have natural insulating properties and the sheepskin and wool make them very warm, while the fibers of the wool allow the shoes to breathe. This keeps the feet at a normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees and also makes for a boot that does not require socks, if that's your kind of style.
Ugg Australian Boots are believed to have been invented in either New Zealand or Australia, however the exact date is unknown. What is known is that these boots were used in a variety of activities before becoming a fashion trend. It is said that World War I jet pilots wore them for warmth in unpressurized planes, shearers in Australian wore them during farming and competitive surfers and swimmers wore them during competitions while out of the water.
The style of UGG boots has changed, also the design of Ugg boot contain whole ages of people, child, old, women and men. It is said that Ugg boots is unsex boots. However, even it is unsex, the manufactory of making Ugg boots is still difficult.
The first step in tanning or processing of sheepskin is "Soaking," which takes about 16 hours to complete. The next step in the tanning process is called "Fleshing." After Fleshing comes "Scouring." Then, "Pickling" of the sheepskin then takes about 16 hours. The 16-hour "Tanning" step involves using chromium salts which form cross-links with the collagen, thereby helping to stabilize the skin structure and preventing putrefaction or rotting. Next comes "Wool Dyeing" or "Fatliquoring." This takes anywhere from 3-4 hours to complete. After the skin is tanned, the wool may be dyed any of a variety of colors. Drying of the skins then takes 4-24 hours. Forced air dryers are used with the skins stretched across a frame. Drying occurs at 50-80 degrees Celsius. Dry-cleaning must then take place over the following 4-24 hours. Following final removal of the pelt grease, "Pelt Dyeing" or "Syntanning" comes next.
After the lengthy tanning process is complete, the final finishing is done so the skins may be used to make UGG boots . The skins must be conditioned to approximately 20% moisture content. Staking is the process by which the skins are softened and stretched, and a "nappy" surface is added to the pelt. Final "Combing," "Ironing," and "Clipping" then takes place to remove any tangles, burrs, or grass seeds that may be remaining in the wool. The wool is straightened using an iron to remove the natural crimp. Lastly, a clipping machine creates a uniform wool pile at a desired length.
A "clicking press" is used to cut individual panels from the skins. After being cut to the right size, the panels are then sewn together using special industrial sewing machines. The soles are then glued to the boot upper, and, finally, the Ugg Boots are ready for you to purchase.
Even summer, people wear Ugg boots as fashion, with comfortable feeling and first-class technology, Ugg boots is summer's biggest winner.

Can I use a US electrical cord/pedal on my Australian sewing machine in Hong Kong?
I'm in Hong Kong and have shipped my Australian-bought sewing machine here with me, but lost the foot pedal/cord. It's too pricey to buy a replacement from Australia, so I've been looking at compatible US cords (with the relevant socket converters). I understand that in the US, electricity is supplied at 110V, whereas my sewing machine takes 240V (50Hz 85W) and Hong Kong sockets supply 220V (50 Hz).*
Is it possible to use a US cord to replace my Australian one, or will the 220V fry the cord without a transformer/converter? And then if I do use a transformer/converter, will I then be left without enough power to run my sewing machine?
If this is relevant, the cord I'm looking at is this one:

The three-holed plug is the part that connects with the sewing machine.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
*I don't know much about electricity so am supplying what info I can.
Get a step up transformer, and use adaptor for the plugs because they may not fit since US , EURO, ASIA, they all have different sockets. just buy them with proper rating and trusted electrical supplier.
